The Role
pSemi is succession-planning and hiring a Cost Accounting Manager to eventually replace their Director of Cost Accounting. This is a revamped role to set someone up to learn the business and impact it from the inside. You will oversee all day-to-day Cost Accounting departmental initiatives, including managing supply chain finance for third-party overseas manufacturers. You will support the Director of Cost Accounting and Director of FP&A in forward-looking Gross Margin Plans and Forecasts.

This role is primarily focused on partnering with Sales and Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Financial Accounting to understand inventory valuation/reconciliation and the appropriate recording of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). You will implement cost control measures and prepare financial models to analyze and forecast changing business conditions, identify risks and opportunities through meaningful management reporting, and partner with key stakeholders on strategic planning.
