We partnered with Nucor Skyline in their search for an Accounting Manager in Rock Hill, SC. Nucor is a Fortune 150 company and North America's most diversified and sustainable steel and steel products manufacturer. Nucor Skyline is comprised of 7 manufacturing sites with 500 employees. The divisional headquarters in Rock Hill has around 100 employees. Nucor purchased this division 7 years ago.
The Role
The Accounting Manager will be part of the divisional leadership team and make a huge impact in the financial and operational decision-making process. Responsibilities include all accounting functions — general ledger, tax, capital expenditures, asset management, financial and compliance reporting, accounting reconciliations, forecasting, monthly balancing, inventory management, and timely financial statements. This position also oversees the credit & collections team.
